    United Nude 'Flat Pack'Shoes !

Spanish performance artist Alicia Framis invited United Nude designers Galahad Clark and Rem D. Koolhas to create a shoe suitable for outer space as part of her Moon Life project :

…a high-heeled shoe both elegant and sexy while not be limited by the extreme conditions of space such as temperature and pressure. Additionally, United Nude’s goal was to create a shoe that can also function in a gravity rich environment.
The further the journey, the more it will cost to transport by weight and volume. Therefore United Nude formulated their own criteria for their Moon Life Shoe: to create something as light and compact as possible while remaining fashionable. The outcome is the United Nude Flat Pack shoe

    Andreia Chaves 'Invisible' Shoes

Raised in the busy city of Sao Paulo Brazil Andreia Chaves tints her conceptual design work, with a unique outlook and aesthetic:

The fact that I grew up in a chaotic city like Sao Paulo, full of contrasts, being in contact with such diversity and constant exposure to different visual inputs, has inspired me in how I think and conceptualize my shoes. Looking at my work, I can clearly see influence coming from my South American sense of versatility.  Also in the mix – what I have been experiencing in Europe.

    Finn Stone's 'Lego Stilettos' !!!

UK artist Finn Stone  creates art with  a colorful point of  view, anchored on design and innovation, allowing the viewer to experience everyday objects  in a  unique transformation:

Humor often arises when you mix the absurd with the real and whilst I attempt to create a perspective personal to the viewer I stumble upon an illogical beauty that resonates with comical tones. Better suited to the language of visuals than to the language of text, I create a world that is molded by the complex interaction between initiated processes and materials. With an innate desire to alter and accentuate, my work simply and effectively communicates an emotional response to my surroundings.

Crazy Shoes!!!:Elephant 'Dung' Heels by Insa x Chris Ofili

Tate Britain asked INSA to produce some work in response to the artist Chris Ofili.
The first piece INSA produced were a pair of 10″ platform heels made from elephant dung!

Entitled “Anything comes when it comes to (s)hoes…” these shoes were displayed alongside Chris Ofilis 2010 retrospective at Tate Britain.

To produce the heels, INSA retraced the footsteps Chris Ofili made over 15 years ago and sourced dung from the same family of elephants that produced the dung used in Chris’s infamous paintings of the nineties. Using similar techniques and materials; beading, resin and painting, INSA pays homage to the style and significance of Ofili’s early work.More images on the next page via Insa.
