This brand and style was recommend by my orthopedic surgeon. It is the perfect shoe for my arthritis in my feet.
Primarily used this for work and the rare hike. But very comfortable. I loved that there are wide size options and the shoes fit well. No tightness around my feet.
These are my 5th pair of birks and I've been eyeing the platform ones for a while. Theyre a little stiff at first, but I don't mind the stiffness as it feels a bit more polished. I might need these in a 2nd color! I wear a size 6 and EU size 36 fits me perfectly.

These shoes are fantastic if you are looking for a barefoot shoe that you can wear to a semi formal occasion or just around town. They are very comfortable. I bought the performance insoles from Vivobarefoot direct for just a little more padding on hard surfaces. I was a little worried because I am a US 10 1/2 which doesn't always translate to European sizes. I bought the recommended size and they fit perfect.
