Throwback Thursday: Caroline Kennedy Visits Tip Top

A blast from the past, not to mention a cool moment in Tip Top history, comes courtesy of Page Six, which documented Caroline Kennedy coming up to Tip Top in the 90s to try on a pair of Hush Puppies. A true 90s fashion icon who was being hounded by the paparazzi at the time, the store needed to be closed so that Ms. Kennedy could shop in peace. When she left, she was escorted through an emergency exit in the back of the store so as to avoid the press. Unsurprisingly, once the photos hit Page Six, Hush Puppy sales at Tip Top went through the roof.
