These shoes literally fell apart while walking - STAY AWAY

Mephisto owes their customers a sincere apology and a refund for carelessly allowing these shoes to be shipped to innocent customers. I only wore these in dry weather. It all started with a tiny vertical crack in the cork platform in the 1st month of wearing, followed by the disintegration of the heel and inner sole, followed by my dismay at being ripped off by Mephisto. Worse, they refuse to take responsibility. I'm not the only one. $300 down the drain. Ecco sandals last far, far longer for half the price. Even the walking shoes have inner sole issues. Take my advice and walk away as fast as possible from Mephisto.
