“As an athlete and a personal trainer I know that the foot and ankle have tremendous effect on the entire muscular system. There is extensive research to support that barefoot communities have far fewer foot issues than shoe wearing societies.  The wrong pair of shoes may negatively impact posture and put unnecessary stress on our bodies.  I’ve had clients complain of headaches from wearing high heels while others developed tight calves and hamstrings, compromised their balance, put undue stress on theirs knees, hips and spine all from the wrong footwear.
