Andre Assous

André Assous built the “House of Espadrilles” – he was the pioneer of designing the hand-sewn canvas/jute classic that has been a staple in women’s closets ever since. He is a designer, artist, and civil engineer and well known in the industry as the “King of Espadrillles.”
